Cracked Tires

Modern tires are made from high-quality rubber, with reinforcement built into certain sections like the tread for increased strength and durability. Constant heat due to surface friction, extreme hot or cold temperatures, and UV rays from the sun gradually cause the rubber to lose flexibility.

As a tire becomes less flexible, surface cracks will develop. The cracks will widen and deepen over time as the tire heats up and then cools down. Worn shocks or damaged struts can cause this problem. These components are designed to absorb energy from driving over rough, irregular surfaces and dissipate it. Shocks and struts wear out over time, and they can also become damaged due to hard objects thrown up from the road. We’ll examine your suspension and repair any damage we find to fix this issue.

Bald Tires

A bald tire has lost almost all its tread and has a smooth surface. This type of tire is very dangerous to drive on, as the tread allows the tire to grip the surface and provide traction. A bald tire has no tread and can no longer grip the surface. It’s especially dangerous if you drive on wet or muddy surfaces, as the lack of tread means the tire can lose contact with the surface and start to skid.

A bald tire can’t be repaired, but we can replace it with a new one. Once it’s replaced, you’ll be able to drive safely again.
