The New 2018 Yaris

The new 2018 Toyota Yaris proves that sporty doesn’t have to be complex or expensive. Loaded with features, available as either a 3-door or 5-door vehicle, and with an available manual transmission, your Yaris can be as sporty as needed to match your personality.

The Yaris comes in a choice of five model trims; 3-door L or LE, and 5-door L, LE, or SE. The exterior lines have been redesigned for a sleek and stylish visual line and the unmistakable Yaris look. New features such as available LED daytime running light accent bar and 16-inch machined alloy wheels add to the sportiness. Other exterior features include multi-reflector halogen headlights, chrome accents on the front fascia and grille, color-keyed outside mirrors and door handles, and a unique single-arm windshield wiper. Available features include integrated fog lights, rear spoiler, and a sport front fascia with a piano-black grille.

Inside the Toyota Yaris, fabric or sport fabric seats with multiple drivers and passenger, front seat adjustments provide a comfortable ride. The rear seat folds in a 60/40 configuration to aid with cargo loading. The steering wheel tilts and has integrated audio controls. Other standard features include power windows with auto down on the driver’s side, power door locks, day/night rearview mirror, front seat map lights, cargo area light, 12v power outlet, and cargo area cover. Available features include Entune Audio Plus with navigation, leather-trimmed steering wheel and shift lever, metallic interior accents, and remote keyless entry with lock and panic buttons.

The Yaris is powered by a 1.5-liter dual overhead cam 4-cylinder engine with 16-valve variable valve timing and intelligence. It develops 106 horsepower and 103 lb-ft of torque. There is a choice of transmissions based on model trims with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with intelligence. All trims use front-wheel drive. The body is constructed using a unitized technique for strength. The suspension uses independent MacPherson struts in the front with a stabilizer bar and torsion beams in the rear. A sport-tuned suspension is available on some trims.
