The Toyota Tacoma is a powerful and accommodating pickup truck, but it wasn’t always the most stylish on the road. The 2020 Toyota Tacoma is expected to feature striking new exterior features, so read on to learn more.

2020 Toyota Tacoma Teaser

We have not seen the 2020 Tacoma yet, but the automaker has made a few exciting announcements. One of the announcements included a dark, mysterious image of the new design. The picture showed redesigned headlights, which are futuristic, sleek, and modern in design. These lights are likely LED, which illuminate the road ahead while also helping the vehicle to be seen.

We also know that the 2020 Toyota Tacoma will be designed with a focus on rider comfort. The Tacoma will likely have a driver-focused cockpit with a power-operated driver’s seat.

We don’t yet know what will be under the hood of the 2020 Tacoma, but the 2019 model included a standard 2.7 liter, four-cylinder engine that earned 159 horsepower and 180-pound-feet of torque. Drivers who wanted a little more power from their pickup truck could upgrade the Tacoma to a 3.5-liter V6 engine, which earned 278 horsepower and 265-pound-feet of torque. The drivetrain was also available with either two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, and either a manual or automatic transmission.
