The 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser makes an exciting debut with its iconic off-road-ready attitude and premium upgrades in every category. With its unique interior layout for extra cargo space and a modern look that honors its legendary roots, this all-terrain icon is ready for a new generation of explorers.
Meet the Adventure-Ready 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser
The Outside
The lineup’s base model, the Land Cruiser 1958, honors the model year of the very first Cruiser. The 1958 trim proudly features classic heritage-inspired circular LED main headlights, a black Toyota heritage grille, and a Land Cruiser badge. Always ready for adventure, both models in the 2025 lineup come standard with mudguards, rain-sensing aerodynamic automatic windshield wipers, tow hooks at the front and rear, and protective skid plates.
The top trim replaces the round LED headlamps with rectangular ones and adds roof rails, running boards, color-selectable LED fog lights, and a power-adjustable liftgate with jam protection. All models this year come equipped with integrated LED daytime running lights, deep-tinted privacy glass on the rear windows and liftgate, and the Smart Key entry system.
The Cabin
The Land Cruiser’s ultra-spacious cabin offers more than 46 cubic feet of cargo space with all five seats occupied, expanding to over 82 cubic feet when the second-row bench is folded down. The Cruiser’s seating layout includes fabric-trimmed front seats with heating functions and six-way manual adjustments, along with a three-occupant cloth-trimmed bench in the rear.
In the base model, you’ll also find six USB ports, a seven-inch reconfigurable digital gauge cluster, tri-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming interior rearview mirror, and no fewer than 12 beverage holders. The higher trim upgrades the instrument cluster to 12.3 inches, adds durable all-weather floor liners, swaps the cloth upholstery for SofTex, and offers the option for a wireless charging pad and a Head-Up Display.
A Look at the Newest Land Cruiser’s Mechanics
Both Land Cruisers this year house a 2.4-liter turbocharged i-FORCE MAX inline four-cylinder hybrid engine, capable of delivering 326 net horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. The hybrid’s nickel-metal hydride battery is rated at 288 volts with a 1.87 kWh capacity. The lineup’s standard Drive Mode Select program includes Normal, Sport, Snow, and Eco modes to help you effortlessly navigate any condition on any terrain.
Both models boast a full-time four-wheel-drive system with a Torsen limited-slip center differential, Active Traction Control, and electronically controlled locking center and rear differentials.
From its heritage-inspired front bumper to its modernized and carefully crafted interior, the 2025 Land Cruiser proudly showcases Toyota’s continued commitment to quality.
