Toyota has done it again with the all-new 2017 Toyota Highlander. This mid-size SUV is sure to impress with a wide array of improved features. We’ve taken the liberty to highlight some of the performance updates you’re sure to love.

This great model was first debuted on March 23rd of this year at the New York International Auto show. It has received rave reviews sense and it was a hit! This great SUV offers comfort and safety without compromising on style and luxury. A vast array of improvements has been made to both the interior and exterior with the driver and passenger in mind.

In addition to the Limited and Platinum models of the Highlander, 2017 brought forth two more options to choose from: the LE, and XLE. All options come available in both all-wheel drive and front wheel drive. Basically, you can customize your ride to fit your exact needs.

In order to optimize performance and make them as efficient as possible, Highlanders now come equipped with the new Direct Shift 8 Automatic Transmission that works hand in hand with a 3.5-liter Direct Injection Engine. Not only will these models be more powerful, but they’re great on gas as well. The new Stop and Start Engine System allows for your engine to turn off every time you come to a complete stop. It then restarts itself as soon as you let your foot of the break, that way, no gas is wasted while you’re sitting in traffic or at stoplights.

Not only are there great improvements under the hood, but the exterior has gotten a face-lift as well. There are three brand new exterior colors to choose from, all on par with luxurious interior details like a new brown leather option.

Toyota hasn’t forgotten about safety either. New models come standard with Toyota Safety Sense P which includes a Pre-Collision System, Automatic High Beam Lights, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert, and even Pedestrian Pre-Collision System. You can rest assured that you, your passengers, and everyone around you on the road will be safe and sound in your new vehicle.
