Toyota Named to Fortune Magazine’s 2018 ‘World’s Most Admired’ List

Every year Fortune announces the “World’s Most Admired Companies.” The top magazine recognizes companies in various industries and also creates an “All-Star” list out of the top rated businesses for that year. For the fourth year in a row, Toyota was named the number one company in the motor vehicle industry. Toyota also earned a spot on the “World’s Most Admired” list and the Top 50 “All-Star” list this year.

Fortune’s “World’s Most Admired Companies” list is widely acknowledged by business professionals. Companies earn their spots on this list through peer ratings from senior executives, directors and industry analysts. A survey is done for each company, measuring nine attributes that are considered critical to a company’s global success. Included in these nine attributes are quality of products and services, social and environmental responsibility, global competitiveness and value as an investment.
