Trim Levels of the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander: Exploring Luxury Options

Family trips just got more exciting in the all-new 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander, with plenty of room for up to 8 passengers and their cargo. Its entry-level XLE comes packed with standard tech and safety features, and two additional trim levels offer even more premium equipment so you can choose the level of luxury that’s perfect for you.  

1. XLE

The XLE’s quick acceleration is provided by a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine that produces 265 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque. Its comfortable SofTex-trimmed seats include standard second-row captain’s chairs or available second-row bench seats, giving the XLE a seating capacity of 7 or 8 passengers. The front seats are power-adjustable and heated, and standard three-zone auto climate control gives the driver, front passenger, and rear passengers the option to choose their own temperature settings.

The XLE comes with premium features like 18-inch alloy wheels, an adjustable power liftgate, and a Smart Key System that senses your key, even when it’s in your purse or pocket. The 6-speaker audio system is managed using a brilliant 12.3-inch touchscreen, which also integrates wirelessly with your smartphone using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. And the XLE includes many driver assistance technologies that help drivers stay aware of and respond to their surroundings, like a Blind Spot Monitor.

2. Limited

The Limited adds to or upgrades the XLE’s standard features with 20-inch alloy wheels, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and leather-trimmed first- and second-row seats. The driver’s seat gets a memory function, so you can quickly return to your ideal driving position after the seat been adjusted. For year-round comfort, the front seats are heated and ventilated and the second-row seats are heated.

The Limited also includes an 11-speaker JBL Premium Audio system for high-clarity sound. The power liftgate on this model can be activated by kicking under the rear bumper, giving you easy hands-free access to the cargo area. And Front and Rear Parking Assist can warn you when it detects nearby obstacles, and apply the brakes if necessary.

3. Platinum

Available only with second-row captain’s chairs, the Platinum adds premium features like a panoramic roof, paddle shifters, and heated and ventilated second-row seats. This model comes with standard all-wheel drive and Multi-Terrain Select with Mud & Sand, Rock & Dirt, and Normal Modes to help you navigate off-road surfaces.

A Panoramic View Monitor provides you with a 360° view of your Grand Highlander’s surroundings so you can safely navigate tight spaces. And a 10-inch color Head-Up Display projects your speedometer and other important information onto your windshield, letting you stay focused on the road.
